COMMUNICATION AND ITS CHANGING TRENDS! Cave paintings: The oldest known symbols created for the purpose of communication were  cave paintings , a form of  rock art . Most cave paintings date from 10,000 to 20,000 years ago. Most often,  animals  or hunting scenes were painted. Sometimes hands are there too. Pictogram: A  pictogram  is a  symbol  representing a  concept ,  object , activity, place or event by  illustration. Pictograms were used by various ancient  cultures  all over the world since around 9000 BC. Pigeon post: Pigeon post is the use of homing pigeons to carry messages. Pigeons were effective as messengers due to their natural homing abilities. E-LEARNING FOR AUTOMOBILE Challenges faced by traditional training methods: Geographic location :- Employees are spread over widely divergent geographic locations due to the location of various factories. Arranging a common platform for training is difficult. Same content for all types of training :- Some of it requires practical training on the shop floor, which is a resource and time-consuming process. The industry concentrates on technical training and ignores personal development and business skill of employees.
